Really, though, what's the worst-case scenario here? He's got 3 months to heal up, which should be plenty of time regardless of the injury. The majority of hand injuries can be healed in 6-8 weeks.

I hope he's healthy for the regular season. If he can't play overseas it gives Oglesby a chance to keep working on his shooting and gets Jok more time on the floor. We pretty much know what Gesell brings to the table.

Side Note - I think Clemmons is really going to impress this season. I don't think he will average 15 points and 7 assists. There's too much depth and talent on this team and his minutes will be limited with Marble at the point much of the time. I do think we will all feel very good about the point going into Clemmons' junior season knowing he will be around to run the show and play defense on the perimeter.

Definitely not good as Stiles tweets a lot and a broken hand would slow him down.

However, I am more concerned with Gesell's hand. Any updates on that?

That's more serious than I thought. Hope it heals that soon, then there is usually a tentative period after the healing before athletes feel comfortable.....

I am certain he was looking forward to the overseas trip......
