Bleacher Report Runs a full NCAA '14 Season Simulation...

Sign me up! But it makes me wonder...if we beat tOSU, who are the 4 losses to.

Nebraska, NWestern, Mich St & ISU.

So Iowa goes 9-4 after beating an SEC team in a Florida bowl and provides the only regular season loss for a Big Ten team that would have otherwise played in the national title game?

Apparently there's something to the 2013=2008 theories.

I've only tried playing a console NCAA football game once, and I couldn't figure out how to complete a pass, so I gave up out of frustration. However, I should add that it was during the Jake Christensen years.

Anybody played the game? Considering purchasing it. Would u recommend?

The gameplay is alright. Seems more realistic, as your lineman can trip you up and you don't always fall where you first get touched at. Sometimes they will just make you lose your balance and you will go another 4-5 yards before coming down. Also the receiving seems more refined and if the other team impedes your route, they will call pass interference.

The one major addition that I like is the Ultimate Team mode. I have been enjoying this mode in Fifa the last two years and I like how they incorporated it with this game. You get packs (like cards) of players, and this enables them to be used on your team. And all the cards are of previous players. So in my first pack (aka Starter Pack) I got some notables such as Mark Sanchez, Christian Ponder, Ted Ginn Jr., Tony Moeaki, Adrian Clayborn and thats it. But in this starter pack, they are demoted cards, so they are lesser ranked cards. Then as you play you can buy more packs and get better cards. I had some Microsoft points burning a hole in my wallet, so I purchased a few All-American Packs. I got Riley Reiff in one, and a full strength Tony Moeaki card in another. But it is a cool feature as you can see legends from other teams play on your favorite team. So right now I have Andrew Luck and Bo Jackson playing for the Hawkeyes.
