Slate discovers Wisconsin coach was jerk on Uthoff transfer

Interesting article. I also read the article on the player from St. Joes wanting to transfer. It was surprising as I always thought Martelli was a good guy, guess I was wrong.

Every day I find it easier to dislike Ryan and Wisconsin more than the day before...even when it's something I already knew.

I don't like the 'culture' of transfers currently in college basketball. However, I'm glad Iowa State is at least benefitting from reality, rather than being the victim. Feels good to know coaches in this state have the stones to play the cards they are dealt.

Like the article states 1/3 of students transfer. Most people don't stick with their first gf. Most people have left a job within the first year. Sometimes things don't work out.

The problem is your AD came out and absolutely blasted the culture of transfer and blasted the kids who do it....now his bb coach is doing exactly what he said he hates.....it is laughable what a hypocrite Pollard is.

Not to mention the word "commitment" means nothing to anyone anymore.
