Anyone still doubt McGearys an future NBA player?

If Mich beats them by 37, we could have easily beat Cuse, meaning we could have made the finals. Stupid selection committee.

Can shoot, defend, rebound, pass and handle the ball for a big.

I got killed for suggesting the same thing last week in comparing him to Woodbury. He's huge, athletic, can shoot, rebound, and has an edge / toughness to him. There is not much comparison at this point unfortunately.

Clearly hes better than Woodbury, thats not really the issue.

There was a couple of guys arguing that they couldn't see him playing in the NBA which is just crazy because its blatantly obvious he can.

how did Michigan finish 5th in conference? was the the beatdown of the big10 and the rough style of play? did they just not get their crap together till now? they started the season out hot, and are finishing it that way.

He can play in the league, but I don't see him as NBA ready yet. We can all hope he leaves early, but he looks like he might be a four year player despite how well he is playing.

if he plays like this next year, no way is he back for his junior year.

Good question. Lack of focus and the big being really good.

I still think Indiana is just as good, and they beat UM twice, but UM just matches up with Syracuse much better and Beliene is twice the coach Crean is.

I just posted this in another thread, but McGary will be turning 21 before the NBA Draft. I think he's going pro after this year.

I think more than any team in the BIG, the style of play, what is allowed by officials. Allowing checking, pushing, and the normal BIG garbage, is a great equalizer for less talented and less athletic teams.....cough, cough.....Wisconsin......

You didn't get killed because you were wrong. You got killed cause you are an a-hole and everyone hates you.
