Gesell's status - anyone hear a report??

He looked like he was wincing on that foot late in the first half and he didnt play in the second.

He gave us a spark in the first and clemmons overcame a couple turnovers to play a solid second half.

Has anyone heard if Gesell is still available for NYC?

Oh I dont want him to aggravate or hurt it so that it might forever hamper him, not at all.

I am just saying that after he played all year and to maybe have to sit and watch at the garden would be tough.

I would assume he will wear the boot until Sunday or Monday then practice and play until he tweaks it again. I'm just guessing but that seems to be the pattern.

I think he will be getting a lot of rest after securing the NIT championship.

Like about 6 months of rest with conditioning in the pool, work on the weights, and various recuperative techniques.
