Agreed - I was thinking maybe biggest game of past 10 years, but that MSU game specifically made me limit it to the current decade. If Fran wins this one and we get into the tourney, it would be pretty hard not to enshrine the guy in the Hawkeye Hall of Fame.

I really don't know. But I think if they can Carmody this year, given all the injuries they had, the timing is odd. I would have thought after last year's collapse, that would been a more logical time to make that decision. Or see how next year goes. But right now, I'd say give him another year.

Yeah, kind of similar but we have a lot more young guys on this team. In 2005 it was clear we would have a good 2005-2006 season, but after that it got foggy. You look at the depth and down the bench right now and we have pieces for several more good teams and with Jok and Uthoff coming in, we are set for a long time.
Proles, for the love of God, do NOT run Fran out of town.

I worry that people will confuse it for Nebraska so I always use NW and NE...FWIW.
Woah, let's hold up there. We need to have high standards for this. I need to see Fran at least match Alford's Iowa NCAA win totals before I'm willing to begin enshrining him in the HOF. Fran needs at least one NCAA wins in seven years before we should be even having this discussion.

Nope, he needs to match Alford's seemingly unreachable NCAA win total first, no question about it.
