Minnesota LOSES!

In 2006, Missouri State finished 2nd in the Mo Valley, which was considered the best mid-major conference in the country that year. They had an RPI of 21. So there's certainly precedence for leaving out a sub 30 RPI team.

Show me team that has ever been left out of the NCAA TOurny with a Sub 30 RPI and a SOS of 2? You won't find one..

Minny will fall out of the top 30 rpi. My guess they will have 33 or 34 rpi when teams are done.

I really think they don't want 8 teams from the BIG in even though they aren't suppose to look at that.
Will be interesting to see what happens if Iowa make the finals.

Iowa would be 12-10 in the toughest conference and a rpi at about 50, 6-8 top 50 rpi wins, and would be 9-3 in it's last games.
Minnesota would be 8-11 in conference games, 5-7 top 50 rpi wins going 5-11 the last 16 games.

If this happens they will either be forced to take 8 or they will leave Minnesota out. If they didn't take us with that resume they would be blatantly telling the country that they look at how many teams from each conference get it.

There is always a first for everything.
You also cannot let a team that sucks have a tourney bid that is deserved by someone else.

The committee can't leave out a team because someone says "they suck." they have to look at computer numbers that reflect the whole season, and when they do, Minnesota will look like a 5 seed. The worst the committee can do is relegate Minnesota near the 10 seed range based on their last-10 record. I agree that they aren't a tournament team as they are currently playing, but that doesn't mean I think they will be left out of the field, which they won't.

Why are Minnesota's numbers so good anyway...because they played Duke?
Outside of conference their best win was...Memphis...wow impressive.

I am not the only one saying Minney sucks. All prognosticators KNOW they suck now. Took the months of February and March off. NOT an NCAA team.

NIT, NIT, NIT
