There is still hope...

Iowa is going to get a strong look if they win the next 3, it will give them an RPI in the 70s with a resume that will stack up well against the rest of the bubble teams.

All we can do is take 1 game at a time and hope Iowa comes out on top.

Not sure why we're assuming a win over ILL is done deal at home? Without Gessell, not sure I'm seeing that one. But I can drink the koolaid with the best of em..

I can't see how anyone can assume this is a win, if Illinois comes in knocking down 3s they will be tough to beat. Nebraska is going to come in thinking they can win as well.

Take a look at the other bubble teams resumes. They're all pretty much dog **** at this point. Someone has to make the tournament.

It's not a done deal but it's a game we should win...and feel confident about winning going into the game. We have lost 2 home games...to Indiana by 4 and Michigan State by 3. I view Illinois as being more comparable to Wisconsin and Minnesota. We didn't have a lot of trouble in those 2 home games.

Same people who assumed win over Nebraska. None of it matters now. Gesell is out. It's NIT for Iowa.

No one is assuming. They're all talking about if we win, because none of the tournament chatter means anything to us if we don't beat Illinois.
