Might as well see who's "officially" willing to predict a tourney birth. I say no. Guessing we'll go 3-2 the rest of the way with a losses to Indy and either Illinois or Purdue but not both. Win the first BTT game but not the second. High seed in the NIT with 2 home games (and wins) before we lose. And that would be a successful season IMO.

I know there are like 20 threads kind of about this, but lets collect our thoughts here. I appreciate you in advance ;)2
 


Just not enough resume for this team. I think a deep run in the NIT will be a very good building block for next season, though.

I gotta say no.
 




I have said they are in all season.

Iowa gets to 10-8 and wins in the first round of BTT and loses a close 2nd round game.

Fran has continued to show he can coach with his team's development throughout the season, Iowa is still a couple players from being able to take a gun to a gun fight and not a knife.

If they end up in the NIT, all is well another postseason although not NCAA tournament is not a bad thing. The Iowa program is about where I thought it would be at this point with Fran.
 






They belong in the tournament, I believe, but it feels likely to me that we'll get shafted at the last minute and be team #69 on Selection Sunday. I had to vote no for that reason.
 




Has Iowa ever been on the bubble and actually got in. Seems like I only remember times they got shafted.
 




















We're in. Only one more loss this season - all the games left are easy locks. We win 1 or 2 in BIG Tourney. I hope next year we don't schedule all the panzy games to start the year. We would of been a lock from early on with a normal schedule.
