Who to Root for Today

So you think a 19 win Dayton team that is 9-9 in the A10 has a chance to get in? Not me...

That is not what I am saying, why want them to win over Xavier? Dayton has lost a bunch of close games, if they get on a roll in the A-10 who knows, they have some quality players and can do well in their conference tournament if things start going their way. It is one of those teams that I prefer to not make their conference tournament and today would have been a big game to lose as they are currently in 13th place in their conference and the top 12 get in.

I see them as one of those teams that could be a "bubble buster" because they have the players to do it and in a mid-major conference we know anything can happen.

NC State could drop to the bubble with another loss. This could be 4 losses in their last 5 games. Their schedule is pretty weak the rest of the way though.

This is who we need to root for today to help our bubble chances and help our RPI. Granted this all doesn't matter if we lose tomorrow but if you're watching basketball today these are the games to keep an eye on.

Indiana State will have to win their conference tournament now. UNI is playing the best ball and could get the automatic IMO. Creighton and Wichita State aren't locks either. This could be a 2 bid conference and looked like 3 very recently.

Since Iowa still has to play Nebraska twice you want them to upset MSU tonight. We want them to be in the RPI top 100. I know it will never happen but Penn State over Michigan as well.
