So, I guess those two games against Wisconsin and Penn state don't count? LOL. You can make stats say anthing you want with a little manipulation / etc. And your right. Getting a shot blocked into the 3rd row late in the game on the road vs getting fouled and going to the free throw line is always a momentum builder for us. Wow.

You actually should ignore outliers for a more accurate interpretation of statistics. Getting a shot blocked into the third row is better for momentum than throwing the ball away because you're expecting a foul and not getting the call. I assume you misread his post.

Since when did the NFL come into play here? College basketball refs are typically not going to give the visiting team a call like that in crunch time, particularly in the Big Ten.

I don't care who the player is. Take it hard to the basket and finish strong...send the defender's broken hand through the net with the ball. If said player isn't strong enough to finish then pull up for the 10 foot jumper and follow your shot in case of the miss.

Easier said then done. Don't you think these players are coached, practice and strive to go hard to the rim... every time. Of course they do! Believe it or not Iowa is playing against other B1G Ten teams that have B1G Ten caliber athletes and BB players.

We all know most of you have never played or coached BB... at any level. I just have to know have any of you really watched BB, like ever before this season?? without extreme bias and no knowledge and no objectivity?

No, it's best used in reference to any play in which a player fakes being fouled.
