This is frustrating to watch such stupid basketball IQ out there. I don't give a rip about freshman either. The season is far enough along where kids shouldn't be ******* down their legs.

Don't get me started on Marble. He is regressing and did nothing positive today.

Oh the emotions....bottom line, the team blew it, the refs blew the last call, and I am totally confused about bringing in Marble at the end when he had sat so long and is hurting...this is a very bad loss. As with all games though, there are positives and it is time to move on to the next opponent.

Throw the mental mistakes out the window for a second. Figure in the missed free throws and layups missed along with getting a call or 2 we should have and a couple of the mental mistakes that were made (and there were some) wouldn't even have mattered. I just can't stand missed free throws by guys who are more than capable of making them. They make half of the ones they miss Hawks win walking away.

Young team has little to do with it. Talent trumps age every time. Look at michigan's lineup last night. They were playing with 4 freshmen and a sophomore at 1 time. I never heard they lost because they were too young! We just are not talented enough, plain and simple. We are somewhere as a program between Lickliter and Tom Davis.(better than lickliter and worse than davis). I don't agree with the stupid comment stuff at all either.

The mental errors are why I said what I said. They lost the shooter TWICE coming out of timeouts. Once with 1 second on the shot clock, and another time on that three point attempt that went in. Then they have a fast break and miss two bunnies, and allow Minnesota to get a fast break and a dunk.

Marble throws one away and Gessell loses the handles on a drive.

Sorry, but those are mental error and not smart basketball.
