Hosting 1st Round Games - IC

Has Iowa City ever hosted 1st round games for the men's NCAA Tournament? If not have we tried? I always thought it would be cool.

No way, not enough hotels. There has been discussion about Wells Fargo hosting but Des Moines needs a few more hotels as well.
