Iowa offers '16 G Jerry Myles

Thanks, since I moved from Iowa, I don't know who is good or not anymore in high school ball.

Have you seen Myles play?

I also live out of state now and have not had a chance to see Myles play. That's why I'm wondering what others, who have seen him play, think about his game.

Gotcha, I too, would like some real analysis. I am trying to catch some 2014 prospects games out here in Michigan this season, lots of issues have not allowed me to do so. I would like to see Darrell Davis out of Detroit Douglass, if I can find a game of his in my area.

West is a young team. They have potential in a year or two. Jumper is right. Assumption has 2 senior leaders with Daniel going to play at Truman State next year. Myles seemed very overwhelmed. He looks much older than 14. This was the only time I've seen him play, but there was not one thing that impressed me. His shooting was not good, his ball distribution was poor, and his ****-poor attitude really showed on the court.

So he went up against an experienced team with a couple pretty good ball players, looked overwhelmed, was this from the outset, or no?

If he was overwhelmed from the beginning and didn't have much go his way the first thing to go would to turn.

Not making excuses for the kid, but he is a freshman and there is a huge difference from Jr. High ball to HS ball no matter what State the game is played in.

After averaging 11.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists last year at Davenport West, Myles is transferring to Sunrise Christian Academy in Bel Aire, KS, which is just outside Wichita. Sunrise is one of the top basketball schools in the Great Plains region, and current Hawkeye Gabe Olaseni attended Sunrise for the 2010-11 school year. In the past 3 years, Sunrise has produced 6 seniors that have signed with D1 schools, 5 in BCS conferences.
