Did the Michigan State Offense Look Familiar Last Night?

Watching the MSU v TCU game last night, i almost felt like i was watching Iowa play. I had several thoughts while watching the game:
1. who is a worse QB? JVB or MSU's QB's?
2. With MSU good Defense/poor Offense they were probably 2-3 games better than us. the D was the difference between the 2 schools.
3. I was very torn-Hate to root for MSU and that slime ball coach-but B1G has such a bad rap right now, i cant bring myself to root against any B1G school this year.
4. Does this diminish ISU's victory over TCU? i think that it really means not much separation between B1G and Big XII-(also, see Minn. last second fg loss against TT)
5. Dantonio made some comment this year or after the season about needing to change the offense-i wonder if this game validated that thought? Kurt i hope you were watching the game last night
6. the trick play-MSU and Wisconsin continue to run trick plays and they continue to work-when will Kurt catch on to this-not saying that it is a saving grace, but throw it in once in awhile-look what it got you in the Minnesota game.

I saw that too. Have also seen a lot of Facebook posts of the same sort. They can't enjoy their own success without verifying it against the Hawkeye's lack of it.

This in my opinion is the greatest difference between MSU and Iowa. They are far more imaginative on offense.

The only difference between MSU and Iowa is that MSU had better talent. You give MSU the same talent as Iowa had this year they might not have made a bowl game either.

But in my opinion based on season projections MSU had a worse let down of a season.

Yeah last night was a great ending for their bad season as it good comeback in a bowl game but it was also against a crappy TCU team.

I felt the same way.
I also felt dirty rooting for the goofers, and will probably need to shower after pulling for Nebby. Every other team I think I can root for (Although, NW might make me feel a little dooshy).
