I believe that referees rarely decide the outcome of a game...at least far less often than fans would like to think. There are notable exceptions, of course (Packers/Seahawks).

The referees may not have decided the outcome of that game, per se...it's no certainty we would have won. However, they (or should I say 'he') undoubtedly and wrongfully stripped us of any opportunity to win. Truly one of the worst refereeing jobs I've witnesses, and I would say that regardless of the way those calls went.
