I would love to see Zach win another really big tournament. He has been in several this year including the masters until the final round.

Let's see if he can hang on over the weekend and shoot some good scores.

I might be doing a back 9 Sunday TPC thread like we did for the Masters but with it mothers day I am not sure.

If he could make a putt, he would be winning right now.

I wasnt able to watch today but was watching the scoreboard online.

I think he lost the tourney as well yesterday with a +1 73. Again he couldnt sink a put yesterday but IT HAD TO BE AGONIZING TO PLAY WITH KEVIN NA.

Zach plays pretty fast and Na is sooooooooooo slow.

It got to the point where on TV when Na was hitting you could see zach in the background turned away and not looking.

I agree with what's been said...and I'm sure Zach feels awful...if he had putt today like he did the last 2 holes he could have won this thing by 3 strokes...but such is the game of golf...it was a great TPC for Zach despite the putting woes.

No doubt. Finishing a close 2nd against one of the toughest, deepest lineup of players is a really good accomplishment.

I have to say that some of Kevin Na's aborted swings when he doesnt break his stance but swings past the ball have almost have to be considered a whiff and count as a stroke?

The Players is an elite tournament. Just a great, great job by Zach and another cool $600K+ into the hopper this season. $1.8mil in just 12 events(15th on tour), 12 cuts made. That's what he made all of last year in 23 events (19 cuts)

Annnd in other news, Golf is still boring.

Then dont watch or follow the sport.

If you cant understand the unique elements of golf, where everything is on one person's shoulders and for almost all these golfers there is no guaranteed money from entering a tourney, then you just dont get sports.

Having the power to hit a ball and curve it 300 yards then being able to feather a short chip or fast putt. It is good stuff
