Zach Bohannon to walk on at Wisconsin

KGYM (1600AM) in Cedar Rapids just reported that Zach Bohannon has decided to walk on at Wisconsin. He will be required to sit out a year due to the transfer.

Wow. That is surprising. I think he'll end up sitting out for the next 4 years or however long he sticks it out though. He's not a Big Ten basketball player. But good for him and good luck to him.

I do not understand this from his perspective. He is a decent player and could contribute at most mid majors in the area. If he was going to walk on, why not go to UNI where he would have a very good chance of playing and would be with his brother. Oh well I guess he does not care about playing time.
