Zach Bohannon leaving Air Force

Don't think that Iowa had any interest when Zach was in high school. Wonder where, close to Iowa, he will end up? Creighton, UNI?

From KCRG's website: Zach Bohannon of Linn-Mar (brother of former Wisconsin player Jason Bohannon and future Northern Iowa player Matt Bohannon) is leaving Air Force after two seasons.

Zach says a military career is not in his future and he wants to continue his basketball career closer to home in Iowa. Bohannon averaged 4 points 2 rebounds a game last season for the Falcons. Zach will have to sit out a year if he transfers to a division 1 school, then have 2 years left to play.
 
Zach didn't have much of an outside game in HS but I thought he had a very high basketball IQ. I believe he was around 6'7". If he has expanded his game/range, I would take him.

Unfortunately, we are in the current state of not being able to tie up a scholarship on a nice solid player that has to sit out a year. We need some athletes that can play right away.

Ryan, I just went back and looked and 811 out of your 983 posts are about Iowa State and Fred Hoiberg. I would say it is a little pathetic but you are consistent and I have to respect that.

Right now, today, would you take Royce White if Iowa had the chance?
Will Clyburn?
Chris Allen?

If you said no to any, you would be lying
 
Personally I would not take a transfer that has to sit out 1 year to play 1 year which I believe is the case with Allen & Loucious.

I would be lying if I said i wouldn't take a gamble with Royce White.

Really? I went to Iowa, lived in IC 2 years after and attended many bball games in CHA. Did you? I think I have more reason to follow Hawkeye sports than a lot of people on this board

Good. Listen I don't "troll" Hawkeyes on this board, but I do stick up for my Clones when I get the chance. I think that is fair.

If Ryno doesn't want to hear about ISU than he shouldn't bring them up with every post.

I have read many of your post, and you are no Hawkeye fan. I lived in Ames for 2 years, and I don't go to cyclonefanatic to bother those fans. Lots of Husker fans live in Des Moines, I don't go to their boards to bother them.

Do ISU poster mock Iowa on the cyclone boards? I'm sure they do, why are you surprised that Hawk fans do the same to ISU on their boards?

That is a complete lie Ryan. You post about Iowa State in threads that don't have to do with Iowa State. You make up new threads going after Iowa State. You tweet daily about Iowa State.

I didn't say I was an Iowa fan. I said I have reason to follow them. I did for 6 years. I have interest in the Hawks. I like to see how they are doing, what's going on with them. I am very respectful of Iowa and don't rip them on this board. Go and look.

You are UBBER sensitive to anything said about ISU, and you are absolutely obsessed with Ryno. Like I said, on ISU boards they mock the Hawks, and on the Hawk boards they will mock ISU. It is par for the course, so quit being such a girl about it.

Ubber? No I like to make fun of Ryno for his childish antics about Hoiberg and Iowa State. But sensitive, nope, what Ryan thinks about Iowa State doesn't have any impact on me. I find his jealousy on ISU basketball flattering.
 
You guys should keep arguing your point in this thread. I bet you'll both win and leave feeling fulfilled.

Anyway, after sifting through all of that, is there any info on where he might end up?
