Yesterday was a privilege!

It was my 4th game that I've been too, one each year. And yesterday I think, was probably the most fun game I've been too. Games I've been too have been 85 and sunny, and just picture perfect weather.

But yesterday, the weather, and the football game was just what I think about when I think of Hawkeye football. Just power, rainy and bad weather football. Some of the people around me left, and my father, I and the friend we were with stayed. It was still a pretty decent turnout in the second half, however, I wasn't surprised to see more than 1/2 the student section cleared out. Granted, it was bad weather, it's just frustrating to see them leave during games a bit.

Anyways, not a rant post, just thought I'd like the Hawkeyes for crushing Ball State ( Weak team, I know ) and for the Hawkeye faithful to be so friendly and family like!

I personally like game temps around 50 but thats me. As for the rain I could take it or leave it. Glad you stayed and cheered. Go Hawks Also you gotta remember beer trumps rain when your in college.

One of the nice things about football season is that you get the whole gambit of different types of weather from the beginning to the end of the season. I wouldn't really say any condition is my favorite but they are all sweet in their own way. Whether you are sweating in the 90 degree heat at season opener or going to a game with long johns and hand warmers in late November it's still Iowa football and what's great about living in the midwest. Too bad winter follows right after though.

At least my father and I aren't the only Iowans who hate winter, haha.
