Yards from Scrimmage for each academic class

The freshman class had...
  • the leader in rushing and total touches from scrimmage (Goodson, 638 yards rushing; 158 total touches for 804 yards)
  • the leader in receptions (Ragaini, 46)
  • the 2nd and 3rd highest receiving yard totals (Tracy, 589; Ragaini 439, tied with B. Smith)
  • the leader in TE receiving yards (LaPorta, 188 yards)
The junior class...
  • had the leader in yards from scrimmage and TDs from scrimmage (ISM, 830 yards, 8 TDs)
  • had the leading receiver (ISM, 722 yards), and B. Smith was tied for 3rd leading receiver (439 yards)
  • accounted for 61% of rushing yards, 48% of receiving yards, and 56% of TDs from scrimmage
The senior class accounted for: 3% of total yards from scrimmage (mostly Weiting), and 6% of total TDs (Stanley and Ross each had 1).

Love those stats. But those were made possible by the upper class linemen. And If Iowa loses both Jackson and Wirfs, that's a huge loss. Add that to the Paulsen's graduating
 
The immediate future is going to be tough given the schedule. Who’d we piss off to get PSU and OSU back to back on the road?!

Well we can play pretty even with PSU and I have no idea who PSU loses to graduation but they have some really good skill players. OSU will always be difficult but not impossible. Fry won there twice I believe and also got swamped several times. Kirk had his one chance to win at OSU so far and was somewhat close on another. Would love to see the hawks win at OSU.
