Why is hockey less of a sport than wrestling? I know this is a shock to some but it is not the BigTen Wrestling Network. Other schools have hockey programs and, nationally speaking, a much more popular sport.
Ignore the fact that the BTN as increased wrestling on TV by about 300% not to mention live on the internet. Let's focus on the fact that hockey also gets covered. Intelligent.

For defending the BTN and the increased coverage they have brought to wrestling?
I think Clonehomer was just making a light-hearted joke. I don't think BTN needed defending. I don't think he was attacking them for their wrestling coverage. I think it was an over-reaction to a simple attempt at humor that most of us can understand. Yes, BTN has increased coverage of Wrestling and we should be grateful to them for it. I think his joke was more likely pointing out their coverage of "taped" Lacrosse, tiddlywinks and spitball tournaments at times when other 'Live" events like wrestling, among other things, may be taking place. I think most people question their "programming" and timing of some of their events. I, for one, am continuously disappointed by their "stated" schedule and what really shows up on my TV screen when I watch something I have taped on BTN.
And yes, I think taking a valium with the decaf would be fine.
