For those of you in eastern Iowa, the Hardacre Film Festival in Tipton has a great lineup of feature-length films and shorts in 2012, including the wrestling documentary 'On the Mat.' Here's the description of the film from the festival's website:

This documentary?produced and narrated by "Parks and Recreation" and "Moneyball" actor Chris Pratt?follows high school wrestlers in Lake Stevens, Washington, through a turbulent 2010?11 season in which the team was attempting to win its fourth state title in five years. Told predominantly through the eyes of five wrestlers, the film depicts an eventful and dramatic season.
The 15th Annual Hardacre Film Festival is Friday-Saturday, Aug. 3rd and 4th, at the Hardacre Theater in Tipton. 'On the Mat' will be shown at 9 p.m. Saturday night as the grand finale, and will be followed by a Q&A session (not sure who with, but I'm checking). Tickets for individual sessions are just $8, or an all-festival pass is $20. You can check out the festival website for more details.
