I have decided to transfer from Iowa due to Family issues, it was a personal decision for me and had nothing to do with any coach or PT

This by no means was an easy decision and I wish things would have happend different but life doesn't always go as planned I wish nothing

But the best to my former teams and have nothing but good things to say about the iowa football program, Coach Ferentz is one of the most

Coach ferentz is truly a great coach but an even better man and I can't thank him enough for the oppurtunity to be apart of this I've learnd

The fact that he specifically says its not about playing time makes it sound like it IS about playing time. Does anyone else get that vibe?
And is anyone else concerned that that Grant is just the first one of more to transfer.
 
Soooo...some scrub is transferring.
Tell me when I should begin panicking.

This kid has always seemed so genuine and has always seemed to love the Hawks. He worked on recruiting a lot of other kids to come to Iowa. I believe him when he says it's a family issue and it isn't about PT. I hope he has a great career somewhere else.
 
He was an athletic kid too. I thought he'd be pretty good. Doesn't help. We need all the help we can get at reciever next year.

Are Horace and Harvey Grant still on teh team?
What about Lou Grant?? US Grant?
GAWD HELP US IF LAND GRANT LEAVES.

So if he says it is about PT, then it is about PT. If he says it is not about PT, then it is still about playing time? Does not compute. He was just heading that rumor off at the pass. No vibe here. No I am not concerned there will be more. That is not to say there will not be more, just that I do not care if a kid does not think it is the right fit and wants to leave, good riddance.

Yeah that may be true. It just seems odd to me when a players redshirt is burned for about 3 minutes of game time and that is it, which is exactly what happened here.
