and in the case of Battle, a really elite-level talent. I wouldn't call their wins luck. They played well in both. Their top 4 scorers are all seniors, so it's not as if they shouldn't be beating some people, especially at home. Brooks, Jackson and Jones don't play afraid and on a night when Battle is hitting shots they can beat anyone at home.

Yes, the illini were due to come down to earth,altho they still shot over 50% from three I believe. PSU guarded them well out on the perimeter,tho.
And yes,PSU is a very veteran team,one of the most vet in the country,and will not be easy to beat at home,which is where we play them.

PSU has the illini's number in bb,just like we have PSU's number in football...strange.
