Did I would see an undefeated regular season by the hawks. 1985, not quite, 2002 an early loss, 2009 almost but now what a team and they were not super crisp today. Those 2 td runs by canzeri r burned into my memory, loved the well timed Taylor blitz and Hesse pick 6. A very conservative offense today but they won.
 
Tears in my mind. Kids (some of who are now adults) have probably played this out in the backyard pretending to be their favorite Hawks or on NCAA football video games. All of us have dreamed of this. Now it's a reality.

**** it, let's win the who goddamn thing.
 
It's so surreal...always dreamed of a "perfect" Iowa football season...and now it's happened for real...Screw it let's win it all now!

Unreal season boys, you have made memories for every Hawk fan young and old!!
 
I remember listening to those losing years on the radio. Suffering through that and being rewarded with this. Unbelievable! Keep it going!
 
Thank you Hawkeyes team....undefeated regular season...always joke at beginning of year that were going undefeated, nat'l Championship, all the way....never ever did I believe it getting to 12-0...

Happy now, but for $**ts and giggles, lets go for the B1G championship next week...shoot, maybe even make, er, win the CFP...no pressure, cause it is all icing now!!!! Twelveandoh!!
 
Today totally erases the truly bitter taste I had in my mouth after we lost to Northwestern in 09.

Stand tall 2015 Hawkeyes. You're the Lewis & Clark's of all Hawkeye teams, ever.
 
Freaking crazy.....never thought I'd live to see a 12-0 regular season from the Hawks. Thanks Kirk, all the rest of the coaches, and all of you fine young men who accomplished this!
 
After Iowa beat UCLA in 1981, I felt I would see it some day. 34 years later..... OMG. Just please lord let us play in the last game of the season.
 
You will always remember 2015 as the year Iowa went undefeated, kirk ferentz saved his as and the year we won every trophy possible.
 
I told a friend in 2002 that Kirk would lead an Iowa team to the national championship. Since then I have doubted that statement many times. But here it is, one game away and with a perfect record. Maybe Iowa doesn't win the big prize, maybe they do. In a way it doesn't matter. They are 12-0. Not many teams have done that.
 
Okay, I've been over the top for a few hours. I'm now coming back down to earth and can't wait for tomorrow to see who we play. I hope it is MSU, other than us they are the best Big Ten team. Lets move on to the next game and win it to get to the CFP. GO HAWKS!
 
Thank you coaches for all your work you've put in and thank you players for wanting to be a Hawkeye! We've played 8 conference games and all 8 teams seem to think we're not any good. Well all 8 are losers! Way to go Hawks! On to the CCG!!!!!!
