Wow - is it Saturday yet?

Seems to me that with each W the weeks leading up to Saturday and the next game keep getting longer and longer. I'm not sure i can survive work until 5 PM tonight! Anyone else suffering from Hawkeye Victory Syndrome (HVS)?

Agreed, I don't know how much longer my work is going to put up with me looking at the internet about 60% of the day now.

Busabus, you're not the only one. If we win Saturday, the HVS infection will spread to most of the Big Ten - exney Northwestern and OSU - and the South Carolina CockHawks.

This is a great point - what did people do at work to kill time before the internet? I would wager that there were a lot more office romances in the pre-internet age because no one had anything else to do. And would it kill Microsoft to create a couple new games? Im a little too good at Minesweeper and Solitare

I remember in high school, on the newspaper staff, I had to do a research topic that was going to be the focal point of page 2. I did an in-depth piece on the internet. I interviewed a local businessman and we discussed how 28.8 bps modems were so fast compared to the 14.4 bps modems! We didn't even call it the internet then...it was still the Information Superhighway. I remember the old dial-up connections where you actually heard the phone dialing your ISP...man, porn-,er, the web sure went slow in those days.
