I would much rather have a kickoff at 9pm, especially considering that I work until 8 tonight.

it depends on where Phoenix is, the difference between Mountain and Pacific time
as i made the trip to Reno a couple years ago i passed thru 2 zones
and DLST is not a difference in time zones

I dont believe Phoenix observes daylight savings. Part of the year they are an hour behind central and the other part they are two hours back.
