Woodbury's body block

As I was walking past a mall sporting goods store that had a local sports radio show on their speaker system, I overheard that Marty Mouth guy say "Woodbury got away with a body block in front of the PU bench on Sunday". All I could remember about the play is that Iowa was awarded possession, so I decided to find that play on the ole DVR. What I found (while watching the different angles in super slomo) was unbelievable. Not only did Woody dive on the floor for a loose ball but he actually had control of the ball, before contact, and threw it off of the defender that was fouling him.

What's with this "Mouth" guy? Isn't he the one that is always pimping players that dive for loose balls? Did Woody poke him in the eye? Where is Wolfgang when you need him....

Marty's probably just trying to break some news like when he broke that Doug McDermott would forgo his Senior season at Creighton.

Another classic was after he won the Masters was that Zack Johnson was a "one-hit" wonder.

He also once professed as breaking news something he heard from his dentist. I dont recall the subject, but as usual he was wrong.

Stopped listening to him long before he was fired for the profanity on air with another like talent, or lack of, Larry Cutler.

Well, I must say that Woody is not afraid of contact, in fact, I wish we had Woody on the goal line stance against MSU last month, damn it.....:p
