Woodbury gets offered by Buckeyes?

He could get offers from every team in the nation. It doesn't change what Fran and staff need to do. The kid is legit.
 
If he went to Kansas or UNC I would understand but he CAN NOT go to tOSU. That is seriously a deadly sin.
 
Would not shock me. Matta the Recruiting Machine tries to gobble up every great recruit in the country,and usually succeeds. He has a couple of top 75 big men coming in this year,so maybe Adam will think twice.
 
This wouldn't make sense, unless playing time means nothing. OSU rarely plays with more than one big. Amir Williams/Trey McDonald are not leaving after their freshman year so...it would surprise me.
 
Going to OSU right now is not a good move. IRS and FBI are after that program. They are more serious than the weak NCAA.
 
Who needs Iowa, or the NBA for that matter, when you can play 4 years at Ohio State? Why do you think Sullinger stayed in school? He didn't want to take a pay cut.
 
I just wish he would sign for the Hawkeyes, and as soon as possible. He signs and we can start to recruit players that compliment him. The earlier, the better.
 
I just have a feeling that our head coach is a recruiter more like George Raveling than Alford or Lickliter! With that thought, I think he comes to Iowa.
 
Basabe making the US under 19 team would help. Beyond that, having some of the new guys look particularly strong would help. But really it comes down to the coaching staff. If they can't close the deal, they only have themselves to blame.
 
From what Im hearing in the Sioux City area Id be shocked if he is not Hawkeye.The kid grew up watching Iowa basketball with his family and is a fan. I f I was him Id go on as many trips and visits as I could knowing that Iowa is the school all along. As someone said earlier maybe UNC or Kansas but not OSU. Last I heard it was like Stanford, Iowa, Nebraska, not in that order.
