There aren't any threads devolving into shit shows and everyone is well behaved, if that's worth anything to you.
Some of the content from Rob is insider info for people who may not be close to the program or other people "in the know."
The thread traffic is much slower so you don't have as much to read, but you don't have @Joshbrown 's mongoloidian polls and commentary to filter out either so that's a wash. You also don't have to listen to @ClintonIAfan bitch in every game thread about every single call from every single ref in every single Iowa basketball and football game and how it's always some conspiracy that they're trying to eff us.

I'm thankful Jon has left a free option and added Rob both for the articles as well as the recruiting info. HawkeyeNation is the only message board I've really been on so I've never paid for it and I don't think I would.
With twitter and all the different articles from here, landof10, hawk central, Pat Harty, Blackheartgoldpants, as well as others there's a lot of great content. Add in the weekly radio segments here in Des Moines, it'd be hard to justify spending the extra money even if we're talking a few bucks a month.

Somebody's paying to know Kirk's first 10 plays? Man save your money! It's Run, Run, Pass (unless you can QB sneak for the first), (Chew gum) then Run, Run, Pass, (See first exception) Run, Run, Pass, Bubble screen mixed in. (Chew gum). This is all void though if Kirk lets Brian install the spread offense, wildcat offense, and half back pass.

Bingo.. I'm right there with ya. What are you actually getting by spending $ on it? Info you can get 20 mins later for free if that. Not sure how hawkeyereport is able to do what they do and more power to them for it but I myself of am similar mindset with you on it.

IMO, we better hope that Brian plays a large role in the QB decision, if not, Kirk will definitely go with Wiegers.
