With another loss need Petras and Mansell to play some series

KF doesnt hardly ever do this but if or more likely when the hawks lose another game I really think it is time to have both backups get some real game series as trying out for next year. It wouldnt be a benching of Stanley as you keep starting him and playing him most of the game or depending how the game plays out but it would be time to play more for next year.

Of course you want to win as many games as possible to make sure you get a bowl and the best bowl possible but you can put in some package of plays for Mansell with rollouts and runs etc or a package for Petras that they script and practice during the week.

It would not be much different than the early years where Banks and McCann alternated or other QBs got a chance.

Personnally I dont mind two QB systems sometimes when each QB cant make the defense have to adjust.

We as fans have favorite players but we mainly want the players and team to win.

Stanley is a senior. This is his ceiling and he is not getting the job done. Why not get our next gen QBs some playing time? Could they be worse?

That could be but next week Stanley with his experience should give the best chance to win. The hawks are probably not out of the West until they lose to Wisky. But the hawks also have to beat Minny too now.

If the hawks lose to Wisky and our 3 games behind and lost the tiebreaker then I say that is the time to experiment and see what the backups can do.

But I also remember 2012 when it was totally stupid for Rudock not to get playing time. Vandeberg could have kept starting but Rudock and other QBs could have got some series at least. Stupid on KF in my opinion.

The last time KF let a back up QB play it caused him head aches. Everyone wanted CJ and then CJs dad got involved. And KFs golden boy transferred to Michigan. KF has a history of not playing back up QBs. And the last time was the last time.

Banks hardly played his junior season . To this day that decision still befuddles me
