Would Jake Kelly consider transfering back to Iowa? I think the main reason he left was more about Lick's style of play and less about being closer to family, but he couldn't politically come out and say Lick's system wont win here.
I guess time will tell if this is an option for him. I believe he was injured prior to the season and red-shirted this season. So he would be able to come back with 1 year of eligibility?

He would have to sit out a year if he did right?

That would make Gatens/Fuller's senior year pretty incredible with Kelly back.

The more I think about the the more I think that if Lick had been viewed as more of a family man at times, he wouldn't have needed to be closer to family as much as he did.

Let it go man ... Kelly is not coming back to Iowa ... He left for family reasons ... He transferred to Indiana State for God's sake ... He is not coming back to Iowa! He even said the transfer rumors were not true ...

This is quite a pipe dream. He actually played in 12 games before he got injured.
