Wisky vs MSU

Even though I can't stand Biels, I kind of hope Wisky just beats the crap out of the thugs from MSU. It would possibly give hope to Wisky making the National Title game and two BCS bowl games for the B1G and it helps us in our division to give MSU a loss. Gohlston from MSU needs to get punked for the cheap shots he handed out last week. KF would have never put up with that type of play from one of his guys. Should be a good game, but I have to go with Wisky (since they can't tie) this week.

Yeh, agree. MSU under Dantonio has gone from one of my top 2-3 fav B10 teams to like my most loathed program in college football. Zero class thugs.

I'm rooting for Wisconsin in every game this year. They are the only real shred of credibility the B10 has.

Yep, gotta root for the Badgers. If they win one of our division foes gets another loss.

And it would be nice to see Thug U. go down. Pretty dirty team specializing in cheap shots and under the pile gouging and kidney punches. Not good

I absolutely hate MSU but this game is my upset of the week. Their d line is one of the few in the B1G that can contend with Wisconsin's o line. They have size, athleticism and speed that can disrupt the smooth machine of Wisconsin's offense.

MSU also has a ball-control, clock burning offense and love to play-action like us and that will keep the ball away from Wilson . Wisconsin has yet to play a complete team this year that can pose any threat to their offense until MSU. Night game at Spartan Stadium as well could mean another MSU victory.

I don't understand how Cousins can feel at home with some of those guys on his team. He seems like such a great guy on and off the field...

Michigan State is the best defense the Badgers will have faced thus far this year. Whether they can cope with Wisconsin's oversized line is another question. At a 322 lb average they can control the game if MSU doesn't get agressive early.

If MSU wins this game that puts them a game up on Nebraska when they go into Lincoln. A win in Lincoln almost gives them a ticket to Indianapolis. All they have to do is get past Iowa in Kinnick and the rest of the season is a cake walk.

For an Iowa fan to do this makes absolutely no sense at all.

Why some people would root for anyone in our division is a mystery to me. The only way to help the Hawks is to root for Wisky. Otherwise you're essentially rooting against Iowa.

I hate rooting for Wisky as much as anybody these days (under Alvarez, they were one of my favorite programs), but you can't let that cloud your judgement. An MSU loss helps us.

While divisionally I should pull for MSU, I'd rather not see Wisconsin have an historic season...Iowa and Wisconsin recruiting against one another a lot, so I don't want to see them go unbeaten and these next two weeks are the best shots at losing they have this year (at MSU and Ohio State).

Add to this that I just don't think Iowa is going to be consistent enough to win the Legends, and it makes rooting for MSU a little easier...then again the uber optimist in me tries to shout that down ;)

Until we are mathematically eliminated this type of thinking is absurd. You root for the outcome that helps the Hawks right now, dont worry about the recruiting decisions of 17-18 year old kids.
