I don't have a problem with it only because he doesn't have a lot of experience with their program. Any live game action he can get at this point, even against lesser opponents like this, will help.
I'm not a big fan of Wisconsin, and I do think Bielema is a tool, but I am a Big10 fan and I think Wisconsin gives us our best hope this year for national "respectability". For that reason alone, I'll be rooting for them this year... Except for when we meet them in the Big10 championship game.

did the same thing last year, BAU for BB's Wisky. Will undoubtably still lay a giant turd come bowl time when they play someone with an actual defense, just like last year. BAU.

It's smart. BB knows how the game had evolved and is playing the game. Like it or now, media exposure and hype are important. KF still thinks it's 1955, and that's why BB keeps out recruiting us.

And I don't think for a moment Wisky out-recruits us. The QB was looking for a one-season home and he found it.

I think Wisky out recruits us to the point where they are a top 10 ranked team putting 50 a week up, and we are struggling to find an identity after our season almost blew up in our faces. It's either they out recruit us or have a better coach, and I am not prepared to believe that!
However, Iowa was still playing Vandenberg in the 4th quarter when they were up 45-17. Both Qbs were pulled with about 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Why do you have a problem when BB does it but not Ferentz?

Did you expect any less from Bielema? the same guy who decided to kick a field goal against Minnesota at the end of the game when they were already up by 2 scores.

I know that with the new divisional format, I should be rooting for Becky Badger to beat the Fuskers, but I can't do it. The thought of Wisky running the table makes me ill. Go Fuskers.

KF coaches, and leaves the media exposure and hype to department staff who are paid to do that stuff. That's the way it should be.
BB does not "keep out-recruiting us."
Wisconsin has twice the population Iowa has and larger cities which allows them to pull in in-state kids. When you can consistently pull 7 to 10 instate D1 kids into your class every year, it makes things a little easier. Last year they had 10 WI kids commit- still, Iowa's class ranked ahead of theirs.
