Wisky #3 on SI;Hawks can beat them

Can the hawks repeat something like last year's OSU beatdown on the Badgers? That would be great but I will take any kind of win. Hawks might be best to run right at Wisky D and need high % of passing game. Need to score points and move the ball.

It was a trap game for tOSU last year, right after a big win by them over PSU and before another big game. Don't think that's gonna be the case for Wiscy this year when they come to Kinnick. But we could still beat them, yes.

With 10 returners on offense, including RB Jonathan Taylor and six other All Big Ten offensive players, Wisky scares the hell out of me.

Hopefully BF has some tricks up his sleeve to put up 24+ points, or this one could get ugly.

One thing going for the Hawks is that it is in Kinnick, so I still have hope.

exactly which is why I said the hawk offense has to win this game or play extremely well to be in the game late.

Last year even a pretty stellar defensive effort for 40 minutes died off because the defense got so tired. Jackson's 2 INT TDs kept us close but this year the hawk offense has to move the ball, use some clock and score and at least flip the field to make wisky go a long way each possession.
 
What I'll be interested in is how does Wisky look after they've played BYU the week before we play them. Do they just steam roll them and rest their starters the 2nd half or 4th q. Or do they have to work to earn it and get beat up some? If they show any chinks in the armor is what I'll be looking for I suppose.
 
I gotta see how Wisky does their first 3 games and any injuries/suspensions we or they have between now and then.

BYU is going to be BAD this year. Bronco isn't there any more and they were 4-9 last year.

BYU usually either wins those types of games or gets totally trucked. The Mormon missionaries have some strongholds in places like Polynesia and California and they can just randomly have some serious studs on their team, but they can flat out suck as well.

Yeah I'm not expecting any sort of upset. Can they expose any flaws in Wiskys game is what I'm curious about. I mean is Wisky going to be turnover happy again like last yr? Is their D going to be stingy as they were last yr? Then of course theirs the injury bug hows that affect everyone between now and then.

Well, O'Keefe, looks like they have some decent ball players this year. Or maybe Wisconsin just sucks. Their coaches prolly should have bought your scouting report and tried to stay the hell away from that Takitaki dude.
