I hope Iowa comes in with passing in mind. Throw over the top of their linebackers and Iowa will find success and soften up their defense for the running game.

If the passing game is improved this year, it will be to Iowa's advantage to play that game in September. Wisconsin seems to have gained an advantage over Iowa in the trenches, so to the extent Iowa morphs into a passing team, it is better to play Wisconsin early rather than when it's 40 degrees outside.

That was the day when Happy Chef parked his '78 E350 motorhome in that row of nice motorhomes by where that Budweiser motorhome or bus thing used to park. It should be helpful for Iowa that Wisconsin's starting DEs are injured and shouldnt be back again until late October/November.

Should be a whale of a game, thank god we have a bye week afterwards either way.

We will beat Wisconsin! Here’s why.
1.) We have this game circled on the calendar.
2.) Betcha BF and KOK have been dissecting every bit of game film on Wisky since Bowl game.
3.) The players will be UP for this game.
4.) The fans will have Kinnick rockin’, especially if it’s a night game!
5.) Iowa has a penchant for upsetting highly ranked teams.
6.) We have them early in the season and Wisconsin has lost some key defensive players. Catch them at a time when their defense hasn’t yet come together.
7.) With a year under their belts, Stanley and receivers will have more success.
8.) Our defensive line will put more pressure on Hornibrook late in the game, 300+ lb. linemen are not built to withstand speed rushers off the edge the entire game. Nelson, Hesse, Epenesa, and Brincks will be coming all day!
9.) Fant and Hockenson!
10.) Our RB’s will be better than people are expecting.
We will be waiting in the weeds for these guys. This game sets up right for us in many ways. Wisky will come in as a Top 10, if not a Top 5 undefeated team, and will leave with a black and gold eye!

Wiscy isn’t losing 3 games in the Big10 if they beat Iowa. So if Iowa loses this one, no West title.

And per Rob’s article at media days, Wiscy players are looking at it already.
