Bucs' Wirfs seeing psychologist over switch to LT

Tampa Bay Buccaneers All-Pro Tristan Wirfs said Friday that the move from right to left tackle this spring became a source of such debilitating anxiety that he began seeing team sports psychologist.

Good for him being honest and open about this. Being overwhelmed and anxious can be debilitating. Kudos to him seeking some guidance. I hope he knows that Hawkeye fans have his back no matter what.

Athletes are starting to be more open about stuff like this. I’m sure they’ve always been subject to stress but didn’t want to disclose
