Win or loose, two plays show......

why this defensive scheme is crap. Man runs right through the zone and we have to rely on him to drop a sure TD. Then, Pryor rushes for a 10 yard game on 4th and 10. I do realize we dropped 7 into coverage, but the front four got absolutely no pressure.

how about havnig no strategy to combat pryors running?

He has down it 7 times today and no adjustmetn to stop him from doing it.

As horrible at it is, it won't change.

Ferentz is to damn stubborn to change what's not working.

I have been a supporter of the Defense but I am now officially worn out. Just tired of watching bend but don't break.

there is no reason a major college football progran can't have the personnel to run a nickel coverage with a LB spying on a QB like Pryor. the slot WR or a speedy RB has the advantage on our LB all day long.

In the 4th Qtr the Iowa Defense has been crap, or worse, other then that it really hasn't been all that bad.

All of you fu#$!k heads are fair weather fans... know nothing.... let alone played the game.... I repeat... know nothing about football and SHUT UP!!

We rarely sub, that is why we are gassed in the 4th quarter. Did you see OSU start running the hurry-up on in the 4th. They were just making sure our tank was empty. Ferentz runs a great program but is a horrible game day coach.

Well, it is also an issue of having an absent defensive coordinator all year. Really totally unprecedented to go a whole season without a coordinator. KF has never made one tough decision as a coach. It is time the press calls him on this. Playing the pity game will always get you beat.

And you are naive if you think that this was the best 11 players that Iowa could start on offense.

KOK & NP's playcalling have been questionable in WINS; their philosophies have been the points of discussion for years on this board.

The media applaudes the Iowa coaching staff for their continuity and consistancy; in being able to keep their core staff for so long.

Actually, that is this program's weakness.

The recruiting has improved over the last decade (look at this team).

Talent is no longer an excuse.

What else does anyone need to know?
