that is all. No official comments, no responses, no acknowledgment whatsoever to dan(at least from the school), that's what he wants and thrives on. this is how he makes his living and will try like crazy to keep it going.

If the conference, school, and head coach don't see reason to look further than what the ultra slow motion video shows. it's done and over.

Whether you think it was intentional or not, your welcome to your opinion. The difference is dan absolutely went way to far in his comments/opinion and I respect the hell out of Fran for backing his player. But now, it's time to go absolutely silent on the matter, and win the next game.

Maybe Fran should worry about Purdue Saturday and not losing his team again like last year instead of giving Dakich what he wants. Move on.

I don't think Woodbury intentionally played dirty by any means but he, the team, and Fran all sucked Tuesday night and Woodbury showed his frustration on the court. It's on camera. When you play like Iowa did you are going to be criticized and they were. But move on. If this becomes a distraction the rest of the season and Iowa collapses yet again, then Fran needs to go. I'm all about him defending his players but the damage had already been done and quite frankly the team doesn't respond well to criticism even when he defends them. It's getting old.

So this whole thing is Fran's fault? Thanks for clearing it up.

I agree 100% with this. I like Fran, but he needed to leave this alone and focus on improving this team. They were thoroughly beaten by wiscy in every part of their game. Fran needs to see the problems that massively outweighed a small possibly dirty play.

Fran made his comments to defend his player. I haven't seen anything since then that tells me he hasn't moved on.

That's what I thought. Did other stuff happen?

Makes sense to say something once to defend your player and set the record straight. After that you just tell people to refer to your previous comments, that you're moving on, and that you are not going to feed any fuel to this nonsense.

After McCaffery ripped Dakich on the radio show with Dolphin, Dakich responded on Twitter.

McCaffery won't have another word about this if he is asked. Wouldn't be surprised is he says "no comment." As a matter of fact, I would not be surprised to see Dakich, Woodbury, and McCaffery get together for some little make-up session when Dakich sees them again.
