Will Saturday's game with Ohio State be a sell out??

Was talking to some Hawkeye basketball fans last night. They were saying that the word on the street is that Carver might reach a sell out level for Saturday's game with Ohio State. Knowing that the Students are out of town still, that might be tough. What are you all hearing? Will Carver have 15,500 in attendance?

If you go to the basketball game, you should stick around for the Iowa/Oklahoma State wrestling dual that starts at 7pm. That will be another battle!!

if it works logistically ive thought Iowa should do more of this while Iowa basketball itself isnt a burning hot ticket. Schedule a dual on the same day if you can and you will probably get some carry over traffic one way or the other.

Did a quick ticket search and the best seats are in row 42 of section E. I think it will be well over 14,000.

There are 28 sections 15,500 capacity so an average of 535 seats per section. My guess is they are already in the 14,000 sold range.

That's garbage, I promise you. I called and asked about getting 4 of the best available for the Drake game, and they said row 30 of some section.

I walked in, 20 minutes before the game, and got a seat in the 6th row behind Drake's bench for $20 at the ticket window.

I would imagine Carver will be jammed. Number two team in the country coming to town. We played them extremely well last year. If Mel rises to the occasion, like last year, the possibility of an upset exists.
