When USC was hit by sanctions, junior and senior players were allowed to transfer to other FBS schools and play the next season without the normal mandatory 1 year sit (as long as they transfer out of Pac-10 per Pac-10 rule).
I realize the flexibility on the transfer rule was partially (or totally?) due to the 2-year postseason bowl ban USC received, but with all that is going on at Penn St and with everything associated with Penn St being so dang toxic, I wonder if players would be granted that option?
This is unprecedented, uncharted territory.
