I'm not that optimistic. But consider:
We are a team whose problem is mental. Physically we're fine. We can get better right now. An underpowered team won't win three games.
The officiating will likely be more in favor of finesse teams than the B1G is.
We have fair to good tournament experience.
We have a reasonable path to the sweet sixteen (Duke, the best of the prospective opponents, just lost to UVA by 9).
Our best player is a senior and can light it up when he's on.
I'm not saying it's going to happen. But stranger things have gone down in the tournament than this Iowa team going deep.
