HN seems to have the approach that it wants to stay away from breaking stories and rather just comment on the established stories produced by reputable media outlets. HN has far less credibilty in the news world than the Drudge Report. DR made a name for itself by breaking the Lewinski story while all the MSM sat on it. It doesn't always hurt your credibility to be on the front end of these stories. I guess it's just an editorial decision that we'll have to accept.
