This nonsense abou amateurism has gone on far enough, no?
If an agent wants to support a player, buy him cars, support his family, than what is so wrong about letting that happen?
In this scenario, do you really think that Paki O'Meara would be concerned that Adrian Clayborn was driving around in a car paid for by someone else?
This is life folks.... those who are the most talented generally make the most money and garner the most attention.
At least this way it is out in the open and it isn't universities or boosters doing it. Have the agents register with the university in question and have all of the money and gifts be logged with the NCAA. If there is no limit, than who cares, and if a player doesn't pan out than oh well, tough poopoo for little agent.
