Why it's a good thing services don't agree on recruits

They all rank recruits and they usually don't agree on where to rank them. Sometimes they can't agree on what position the kid will play. And often they don't even agree on what his measurables are.

Why is this a good thing? Because it is a reminder that recruiting is an art in addition to being a science. I'll be the first to say it is nice to get a blue chip recruit. But there are more blue-chippers out there than what the recruiting sites would have you believe. The outlaw agrees with me.
