some SEC friends said (seriously) that PSU should have lost to LSU and that Iowa barely beat GT.

Iowa "barely beat" GT. Ok. They led the entire game and outgained them something like 400-150. I guess we got lucky..
PSU "should have lost" to LSU. That's another good one. Woulda's, Coulda's, and Shoulda's don't mean much. I'm more interested in reality.
It was the same thing on the local talk radio in Tampa a few years ago before the OSU/Florida championship game, the loudmouth on the radio was ripping the Big Ten for winning the Outback and Cap1 bowls not convincingly enough over SEC teams. Of course, the guy is a Florida fan.
