With the Siena situation cleared up, why haven't the other assistants been named? You'd think they would have fallen into place rather quickly.
Could it be that Fran has a guy like Morgan in the mix, which might mean he needs to get the ok on a little more money to offer, or the administration is doing significant background work to ensure nothing from Morgan's past bothers them?
Not saying it's Morgan, but I'd think there could be other experienced guys that'd require an administration to both come up with more cash and do more investigative work.
I wouldn't mind one assistant with some experience and a little baggage (you haven't been recruiting long enough or in the right places if you have no baggage).
All in all, I take the delay as a sign we might be adding significant assistants.
