Why do referees do this?

Aaron Fuller just fouled out. Why do referees zero in on one player and put them in foul trouble early and totally take them out of the game. Its usually an away player, and its the away team's best player at that time.

I'm not dogging the refs usually, but seriously, it happens in every big ten game I watch.

Fuller didn't do anything but call for the ball backing up. The ref called him for clearing out. I just don't get it.

Yeah I saw that too. It was a horrible call.

I didn't know it was a foul to post up. These refs have been horrible all game. They've called so many ticky tack fouls its unreal. You can't lay a finger on the guy without getting a foul

This doesn't happen at Carver to players on the opposing team.
