Why didn't Prince call time out?

Why didn't he call time out when he reached half court with the ball? There would have at least been .9 or even more than a second left on the clock, enough time to inbound, take a quick dribble and shoot.

That would be a coaching decision. I agree with you tho. The quick timeout is a much better option than a half court heave
